Résumé
Price negotiations, relationship building and contractual discussions all help to complicate licensing. So much so that some of the fundamentals can get missed, says Guy Oliver of Innography. Licensing professionals know that inherently; though it might not be commonly understood more widely within the business. Unfortunately, as a result, the processes most organisations follow when licensing their tends to be less than optimal.
