This dataset compiles longitudinal innovation indicators for Indonesia (2000–2023) at the provincial level (38 provinces), integrating data on scientific publications and intellectual property (IP) activities, including patents, utility models, trademarks, and industrial designs. It is derived from international databases such as OpenAlex, PATSTAT, and WIPO global collections, covering applications with at least one Indonesian applicant, inventor, or designer and attributed to subnational locations. The dataset enables analysis of regional innovation dynamics, institutional participation, and geographic disparities, supporting evidence-based assessment of Indonesia’s decentralized innovation ecosystem.
