This dataset compiles administrative data from Indonesia’s Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) covering the period 2000–2023. It includes patent, utility model, trademark, and industrial design applications, disaggregated by applicant origin (resident/non-resident), technology fields, and economic sectors. The dataset enables the analysis of temporal trends, sectoral specialization, and international participation in Indonesia’s IP system. It supports evaluation of usage patterns across IP instruments and provides evidence for assessing system performance, identifying structural changes, and informing public policy related to innovation, commercialization, and intellectual property management.
