Resúmen
Even if this review may criticize parts of the work, you will be interested to read this book and will learn useful information if you have an interest in the issues created by the development of digital platforms and platform economy. This book is the result of a group effort of 20 academic contributors edited by Kalpana Tyagi, Anselm Kamperman Sanders, and Caroline Cauffman. It offers a view from across several jurisdictions (EU, UK, USA, Latin America, India, and China) and explains that the objective is to examine the issue of competition and regulation in the platform economy. However, this and the title of the book are partly misleading. When you read the title of the book, you assume that each contribution is going to examine the relations and overlap or issues existing between digital platforms, competition law and regulation, meaning other types of applicable regulation than competition law, and this is not exactly the case.
