Gender Gap in Industrial Designs of Central European and Baltic States dataset

This dataset compiles global industrial design filings from 1995 to 2021 associated with applicants resident in Central European and Baltic States (CEBS). It draws primarily on WIPO’s Global Designs Database, complemented by national IP office data. The dataset includes over 200,000 design records, with partial coverage of designer demographic information. Gender is attributed to designers where possible, enabling analysis of women’s participation across industries, countries, and applicant types. The dataset supports longitudinal analysis of trends in design activity and gender disparities within the CEBS innovation ecosystem.
