Priority direction of socio-economic development of any state in the modern world is the development of innovations. The innovativeness of the construction industry in Ukraine is extremely important in ensuring the effective development of the country in the face of the challenges of today's globalization and economic crisis. The economic development, the solution of socio-economic problems and the competitiveness of the country largely depend on the innovative development of the construction industry. The construction industry today requires the introduction of new technologies, materials, new machinery and tools. Therefore, an important factor for the innovative development of modern construction should be scientific technical creativity, inventive activity and its results − objects of intellectual property rights.
