International technology transfer as a mechanism of activating the innovative development of a country

The article deals with the theoretical, methodological and analytical issues of the development of international technology transfer that are becoming of increasing importance in the development of innovation processes in different countries. Identification of the content characteristics of the main forms of international technology transferallows outlining the methodological approach for analysing their effectiveness. In accordance with the existing methodological provisions the authors suggest systematize a set of indicators for analysing the effectiveness of international trade in high-tech goodsand in high-tech services, internationaltrade in intellectual property,foreign direct investmentand international migration of highly skilled workforce and students. The paper investigates the effectiveness of international technology transfer in different countries regarding the innovation processescontext.
