Note
This article considers the ways in which the application of proceeds of crime legislation can be a potent tool for the enforcement of intellectual property rights. This would be achieved through removing the economic incentives for this infringing trade. The applications of the Proceeds of Crime Acts of the United Kingdom and Australia to intellectual property crime are surveyed.
