Note
The courts have denied copyright protection to fraudulent, immoral or obscene works because it offended public policy to protect such works. Despite arguments that immorality and illegality play no part in determining what copyright protects, this article argues for the continued existence of a public policy ground upon which copyright protection can be denied outright to works or remedies refused.
