Note
This article investigates, through a comparison of relevant US and UK law, the extent to which innovative dishes and recipes many be protected by copyright law. It draws upon principles formulated in recent Dutch and French cases on the protection of perfumes, which the author maintains may, by the way of analogy, assist interpretation in this area.
