Resúmen
Within the ever-green debate "competition law versus intellectual property law" there is also room for the analysis of new and controversial tools such as the Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems[1] as they do seem to affect competition for better or worse. As a matter of fact, the adoption of DRM systems has been spreading, and they are currently implemented in an increasing number of sectors. This phenomenon has consequences on competition within traditional markets as well as in the creation of new markets.
