Further, they shall provide evidence of compliance with the legal requirements in the providing country for prior informed consent for access and fair and equitable benefit-sharing of commercial uses. Dozens of other developing countries have voiced their support for this proposal. However, Brazil itself only managed to fully implement this so-called "certificate of legal provenance" in its national legislation by the beginning of 2007. This latest development is analysed, taking into account the respective legal situation in the Andean Community and in Costa Rica. 000024252 650_0 $$aIndustrial property. 000024252 650_0 $$aCopyright. 000024252 650_0 $$aIndustrial design. 000024252 650_0 $$aIntellectual property. 000024252 650_0 $$aCompetition, Unfair. 000024252 650_0 $$aAntitrust law. 000024252 650_0 $$aPatents. 000024252 650_0 $$aTrademarks. 000024252 650_0 $$aCopyright, International. 000024252 650_0 $$aRestraint of trade. 000024252 650_0 $$aIntellectual property$$zUnited States. 000024252 650_4 $$aIndigenous Knowledge$$zLatin America$$xGenetic resources 000024252 650_6 $$aPropriété intellectuelle$$xDroit$$xPériodiques. 000024252 650_6 $$aPropriété industrielle$$xPériodiques. 000024252 651_0 $$aAmerica$$xCommerce$$xLaw and legislation. 000024252 651_0 $$aLatin America$$xCommerce$$xLaw and legislation. 000024252 830_0 $$aInternational Review Of Intellectual Property And Competition Law (IIC) ;$$vDE 34 2008 Vol 39 No 1 pages 35-50. 000024252 903__ $$aInternational Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law (IIC). 000024252 904__ $$aJournal article 000024252 942__ $$cART 000024252 952__ $$w2008-05-05$$p2008-0223$$u37870$$bMAIN$$10$$kDE 34 2008 Vol 39 No 1$$v2008-05-05$$70$$cMain Library$$yART 000024252 980__ $$aBIB 000024252 999__ $$c26519$$d26519
