"An advertising agency and its client: a match made in heaven? Following the release of the template client/advertising agreement by the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (ISBA), the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), we review the document from the viewpoint of the client. With detailed comments on the issues that are faced generally when negotiating this type of agreement, we also give examples of additional key clauses and pinpoint some of the pitfalls that a wary client should avoid".
