"Numerous electronic devices or other technological systems are developed with the objective to enhance the protection and management of copyright on the electronic networks. Along this technical development, international and national legislators have envisaged the legal protection to prevent the technological copyright protection from being defeated or circumvented. This raises new perspectives in copyright protection with new rules and principles, which are far from being clear and harmonised."
