Note
"This article examines the latest legislation placed before the U.S. Congress concerning the protection of collections of information. It compares it with previous legislation which passed the House of Representatives last year but was rejected by the Senate. Thereafter, the article compares and contrasts the proposed U.S. legislation with the United Kingdom Regulations concerning the protection of databases and comments on some of the implications of those differences, particularly in the context of moves for an international treaty for sui generis protection of databases."
