It is not contrary to Articles 30 and 36 of the E.C. Treaty or to the Council Directive on Rental and Lending Rights for a holder of an exclusive rental right to prohibit copies of a film imported from one Member State, even where the offering of those copies for rental has been authorised in the territory of the first Member State.
