This "Liber Amicorum in Honour of Professor Roger Blanpain" was presented to the Professor on the occasion of the 11th World Congress of the International Industrial Relations Association, held in Bologna, Italy, in September 1998. There are more than 40 contributions and each one was given the freedom to write on a topic within the main field of Professor Blanpain's interest: labour law and industrial relations. The result is a collection of essays ranging from an examination of national and regional developments to an analysis of conceptual problems and global issues.
