This new edition of the Informatics Glossary boasts more than 2,000 entries, compared with the 750 published in the 1990 edition. It deals especially with the terminology of general-use work stations as well as the new concepts which describe the latest technologies that are fast becoming part of our daily life, such as communication networks, multimedia, mobile computing and virtual reality.
