Word by Word of Citation; In recognition of and appreciation for his outstanding and meritorious service rendered to the Republic of Korea, I take great pleasure in awarding, in accordance with the powers delegated to me by the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, the Order of Diplomatic Service merit Gwanghwa Medal to Dr Arpad Bogsch, the United States of America : Dr Arpad Bogsch, Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization, has rendered distinguished service in promoting mutual relations in various fields of common interests between the Republic of Korea and the WIPO, and thereby has contributed much to the development of the industrial property system of the Republic of Korea; His valuable dedication and service has gained for him the appreciation and admiration of the Korean people;.
