The Manual consists of two parts. Part I contains separate chapters for almost all the countries in the world, relating to industrial property law in those countries. Part I also contains chapters relating to groups of countries having uniform laws in the field of industrial property (such as Africa's OAPI and ARIPO, the Eurasian patent system, the European Union, the European patent system and the Benelux). Part II relates to what is called 'International Laws and Regulations'. This part consists of four sections, namely: Europe, Japan, United States of America and International Conventions. Synopses of several important conventions and agreements are also available. Furthermore, this part contains data with regard to the membership of countries of the respective conventions and agreements.
