Summary
The BIRPI "Model Law for Developing Countries on Inventions" is the work of BIRPI and a Committee of Experts convened by BIRPI which met in October 1964. The Committee consisted of experts appointed by 22 countries, all of them "developing," according to the criteria of the United Nations. Throughout the preparation of the: Model Law both BIRPI and the Committee were in touch with the United Nations Secretariat and actively cooperated with the representatives of that Secretariat.
