Résumé
"Infringement of intellectual property, especially on the Internet, may be localised in many countries at once. This article argues that, in resolving resulting conflicts of laws, courts should consider how public policies of the international treaty regime compel remedies. As a rule, these policies favour applying the laws of the countries whose markets are targeted or damaged, respectively, as bases for injunctions or monetary awards. Exceptionally, home law alone may be applied, notably as the basis for enjoining the haemorrhaging of protected matters or for special awards to deter piracy."
