Резюме
"The Netherlands became internationally known in the field of patent law due to the so-called "cross-border" rulings. In a much talked-about judgment (EGP/Boston Scientific) in 1998, the Court of Appeal in The Hague ruled that some restrictions would have to be placed on the cross border rulings. This article will examine the effect this judgment has had on the patenting experience in The Netherlands. Besides this, various aspects of the patent procedures are examined and analysed, such as the number of nullification procedures, the impact of the TRIPs Agreement, and to what extent the various possibilities to institute patent procedures are actually made use of."
