The traditional means of protecting intellectual (or industrial) property are under pressure from the forces of globalization. The purpose of this book is to identify interfaces between traditional and modern "strategic" means of industrial property management, and to offer an interchange of ideas between experts from a variety of backgrounds, all of whom are engaged in some way with the promotion of innovation and the protection of the fruits of innovation.
